The
Expertise
We
have had three decades of legal experience in wetlands
and lakes law. This includes cases before the Minnesota
Supreme Court, Court of Appeals and the Federal Courts.
We've handled proceedings before the Department of Natural
Resources, the Board of Water and Soil Resources, and
other state and local Boards, Councils and Commissions.
Our clients have included sportsmen's clubs, environmental
groups, municipalities, and private landowners.
Water Law Cases
These cases can arise as water appropriation, lake owners'
access rights, surface water drainage, zoning or special
assessment matters, to mention a few.
Wetlands and Zoning
In
recent years, there has been a significant growth in
wetlands regulation by federal, state and local units
of government that ofter require legal representation.
Team Approach
Water
law cases cannot be satisfactorily resolved without
an interdisciplinary approach. We have worked with a
number of engineers, environmental specialists and land
appraisers to try to get the best possible results for
our clients. Email or call us about your needs.
