Do You Need a Minnesota Estate Plan or Probate Administration?

Attorney Bill Peterson is an author, former legislator and attorney with over 45 years of legal experience. Our office can bring that wealth of experience into play for you and your family. If you want caring, experienced and skilled legal representation, you've come to the right place.

DO YOU WANT AN ATTORNEY WHO IS PASSIONATE ABOUT YOUR CASE?

Bill Peterson's family went through some hard times which shaped his commitment to families with estate planning or probate needs. His father died when he was five years old for which his family was unfortunately not prepared. When his mother remarried, her second husband suffered a heart attack and lost his business. Sadly the family had not made a business succession plan.

These life experiences made Bill passionately dedicated to making sure other families did not have to go through what his family endured when he was a youngster. His lifelong dedication is an important benefit to his clients in their estate planning and probate needs.

IS LEGAL EXPERIENCE IMPORTANT FOR YOUR ATTORNEY?

Bill Peterson has worked as an attorney for the Minnesota Attorney General which gave him hands-on experience with how government works.

He was elected by the people of Bloomington to two terms as a state legislator. He understands intimately how laws are made and the practical side of administration of them to benefit his clients.

After handling hundreds of probate cases for families, Bill was concerned that most families are unaware with how the probate process works so he wrote a book for laypersons titled "When a Loved One Dies in Minnesota: A Family Guide in Probate". The book is available on Amazon but families who become clients are given a free copy of the book.

Bill Peterson has done all these things in his 47 years of practicing law. He has appeared on clients' behalf in most of the 87 counties of Minnesota.

Besides Minnesota, Bill is also admitted to the courts of Wisconsin and North Dakota and the United State Supreme Court so if your case involves issues or property in surrounding states, we can handle most of those matters.

Having an attorney with wide experience like Bill Peterson will give you an advantage in legal proceedings. What's more, Bill's practical experience will help assure that he can explain the legal processes in everyday language so you will have not only quality legal representation but also a lawyer who can help you understand the different steps in the legal processes in your case.
